Absolutely brilliant! There has been a LOT of chatter on MS related blogs about a new “innovative” feature in the upcoming version of MS Office…the ability to save documents in PDF format! WOW, all I can say is it’s about time. They certianly did not get the idea from another well known open source office suite (or it’s commercial sibling which is sold by Sun Microsystems).

I guess it was only a matter of time really. One of the huge selling points of OpenOffice.org/StarOffice was the fact that you could export to PDF. The really amusing thing about it is the fact they are making such a HUGE deal about this as a “new” and “innovative” feature. I use this feature ALL the time, especially at work, so I guess the addition of this feature is a big deal for all those who can’t afford OpenOffice.org…oh, wait…nevermind.
