A Peak at Things to Come…

Seth Nickell posted several interesting videos and screenshots of Luminocity and Cairo in action. Luminocity is the testbed for new display technologies that will later get ported back into Metacity for regular use.

In other Linux Desktop news, Beagle 0.8 was released today with lots of improvements!

As Novell Prepares for Desktop Linux 10 I have a feeling that this stuff will see many more advancements and refinements over the next year. I don’t doubt that the Red Hat engineers will have their hands in this as well. These will be exciting times for the Linux Desktop.
