Well, I have finally done it. I have decided to jump on the blogger bandwagon. Better late than never I guess. As you can see I am utilizing WordPress as my blogging tool. So far I have found WordPress to be an excellent package. Easy to install, easy to configure, easy to use…all the things I love in a piece of software.

Things still to do:

• Create own theme…probably to make it blend in more with LinuxReview.net
• Integrate blog headlines on LinuxReview.net
• Learn more about WordPress features

So why not use Bloglines (since I use it as a newsfeed aggregator) or write my own blogging tool (since the infrastructure for LinuxRevew.net almost has the same functionality)? Well, for one I wanted to host it on my site and not from a third party such as Bloglines, Blogger, etc…Second I just don’t have the time to do as much *extra* personal programming these days. I would rather spend what little free time I have doing other things than creating my own tool when WordPress seems to be more than adequate enough.
