Additional Language Support
Here you need to select which language will be the default language used on the machine. You also have the opportunity to select addtional languages, if any, you want to be installed. Additional languages that are installed can later be made the default language after installation.

Time Zone Selection
Now you have to select the appropriate time zone for your computer. You can either click on the interactive map in the region you want or by selecting the time zone from the list below the map.

Set Root Password
In the Linux/UNIX world "Root" is the computers administrator. You should only run as root to do administrative tasks. Running as root by default when you log on to the computer is a very bad idea. Not only is it a security risk but you stand the chance of accidentally changing or removing critical settings or files that can render your computer useless without a reinstall of the operating system.

Package Group Selection
In this section of the installer you are able to select, or deselect, the packages you want installed on the system. For new users this can also be a very overwhelming task. The truth is new users can probably get by with the default settings. I am also not sure if this section is even shown if you select one of the pre-defined Install Types?

If you want to select individual packages from any one group just click on the "Details" button and it will provide you with a list of the packages installed in that group. You can then select or deselect packages as you wish.
